Vehicle Security System
A typical vehicle immobilizer system requires the vehicle ignition key (with an embedded transponder) to be authenticated by the Engine Control Unit (ECU) each time the vehicle is started.
The Bosch vehicle security system is an intelligent communications interface between the engine control unit and the ignition key transponder. It is designed to meet the latest European security requirements. Its small size enables great placement flexibility in the vehicle. As a product available today, minimal application effort is required for vehicle integration.
Other components for securing your vehicle are also supplied by Bosch. Products such as sirens for car alarm systems, remote keys, RF antennas and electronic ignition locks grant security of the vehicle against theft and burglary.
